Charlie And The Art Of The Pen
The inspiration for these collected thoughts, my muse, seems distant of late. He says little, and often nothing to me. The turmoil he feels, spills onto my written canvas, as his becomes desecrated in long brush strokes. What is he thinking as he paints? Are the colors mirrored with the pain he feels inside, or does he demonstrate complete control of his brush? For what he has done in my life, I owe him my best work. My written words must portray him as the hero that he has been to me, and for this gift I pray daily. I have spent a great deal of time recently deliberating with friends on what art is.
I have come to the conclusion that art can be found in anyone; if they are willing to search themselves for it.
It may not be easy to understand, but each human being has some artistic skill; though they may not realize it.
For example, my someone. He knows that he is a talented photographer; hell, anyone that sees his work knows.
But does he know that he has developed the art of visualized clarity? He does not.
